At 12:30 pm the children break for lunch. A choice of meal is available and there is a facility for eating a packed lunch. All children sit together and we encourage social interaction during this time. The system is overseen by Lunchtime Supervisors and the Head Teacher. Children with specific dietary requirements are supported by the Catering Staff who cook the meals on the premises. We can advise on free school meal entitlement.
We believe that special events are important to the child's broad education; Harvest, Christmas, Sports Day, Educational Visits, Theatre, Visitors and meeting children from neighbouring schools. Staff of local Primary Schools meet regularly with representatives of Linton Village College to ease transfer.
